Until recently, Nathalia had the life of a normal women from Cameroon. She was married, had five children, both her and her husband worked and the family's income, although modest, was sufficient.

But everything changed suddenly. Before giving birth to her fifth child, Nathalie had a heart attack. Then she never recovered from the delivery. Now she has been thrown out by her husband because he does not want a sick wife. The children now live with their grandmother. In December 2014, she was sent to the Shisong Cardiac Centre. There, Dr. Jena-Claude Ambassa diagnosed a mitral insufficiency and recommended an operation.

Nathalie wants to get her health back and be able to take care of her children. She is willing to give everything she owns to pay for the operation. This means that she can contribute 100.000 CFA (€ 152,00).

August 2015: Nathalie was called several times for operation but she did not come for the surgical intervention. We do not know the exact reason. May be she was too anxious to undergo an open heart operation. According to the agreement between MI-DO and the Heart Foundation Shisong/Kumbo the collected funds will be redirected to the next person in need.

Balkissou, 15 years old orphan, will be the beneficiary. Soon she will get the urgent needed surgical intervention
