Amza is an ambitious young man who was able to survive despite his being an orphan and who, notwithstanding his situation, manages his everyday life and studies. Since two years, however, a heart desease makes his life more difficult. He was first treated at the Banso Babtist Hospital for symptoms such as coughing and fever. In December 2014, a diagnostic was reached at the Shisong Cardiac Centre, where Dr. Jean-Claude Ambassa determined that Amza suffers from mitral insufficiency and recommended an urgent surgical procedure.

Amza is allone in the world and cannot contribute financially to his operation. We have thus committed to bear the full cost of the procedure.

July 2015: When Amza first came for tests at the Cardiac Centre Shisong, his heart disease was unfortunately already at a very advanced stage. The probabilities of complications were thus extremely high. Amza passed away in the time between the diagnostic and the operation. RIP
