Masuadou is 06 years old. Since 02 months he started suffering from a persistent cough, fatigue and chest pains. He was consulted and admitted several times in the NDU health Center where he was treated. Finally, he was referred to Shisong Cardiac Center for more investigation. Dr. Cabral consulted; an Echo Test was done and the child is discovered with a Severe Mitral Valve Regurgitation which requires an urgent intervention. 

As a housewife whose husband is an unemployed and catering for a family of 5 children, it is really challenging for Masuadou to undergo for the surgical intervention because of the financial situation of the family. However, they said that they have been able to raise the sum of 400.000 FCFA (€ 610,68). 

Masuadou will be scheduled for the operation as soon as the financial aspect is resolved. Masuadou can be operated approximately between December 2013 and March 2014.

News: Due to the deteriorating health status of Masuadou the surgical intervention had to be anteponed, irrespective of the actual recruitment of financial recourses. The surgical intervention was performed in early 2014. To cover the remaining debts the fundraising continues until 100% are reached. Therafter a final report will be sent to all benefactors.
