Final Report:

Unfortunately, we have sad news to report about Tatiane. We all knew that there were grate risks associated with surgery, but we hoped to be able to help Tatiane. The decision to install multiple valves in Tatiane's heart was a difficult one to take, but the favourable arguments were solid. Tatiane and her family had discussed the risks in detail with the surgeons and decided that the operation was the only way to have a chance to help her. The operation, realised by Dr. Charles Mvondo and his team was without any complication. On this photograph of Tatiane and her grandmother taken in the intensive care, both look happy. Also your donations and solidarity have brought Tatiane and her grandmother happiness, hope and confidence. A week after the procedure, serious complications developed and it was impossible to save Tatiane. RIP
