Great joy!
Rosaline can now return to her work as a seamstress, thanks be to God. In mid-April 2024, Rosaline was successfully operated on by Dr Charles Mvondo and his team. Rosaline was able to leave the hospital in Yaoundè well recovered. Follow-up care will be provided at the Heart Centre of the Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis in Shisong.
Rosaline and her family would like to thank the mi-do donation community from the bottom of their hearts for their valuable contribution.
Good news!
The Tertiary Sisters of St. Francis have resumed cardiac surgery at the General Hospital Yaoundé. It is expected that 10 to 12 children and young adults will be operated on in the next few days.
Rosaline has not had an easy life. Her widowed mother was unable to provide for Rosaline and 5 other children, so Rosaline grew up with an aunt. Her living conditions are very modest. Rosaline is a trained seamstress and earns a small income.Rosaline has a congenital heart defect which was diagnosed in 2016. Rosaline should have been operated on back then, but the family could not afford the operation. It's a pity we didn't find out about it sooner. Well, it's not too late and with the contribution of the mi-do donation community and other donors, the operation will now be possible.Thank you very much for your valued contribution!23.04.2024
