We have important news for you!

December 2023: The Tertiary Sisters of St Francis were unable to extend their contract with the Clinique de Jourdain and will not be able to perform heart operations until further notice.

Thus, Etica Mundi has decided to support the Heart of Cameroon Foundation (HCF) in its activities so that heart patients, especially children, can still be operated on in Cameroon. The concept is different - we collect the funds for consumables that are necessary for heart operations. All other costs are covered by other organisations so that the operations are completely free of charge for the patients. The HCF team does not charge any fees! The patient only pays for the hospital bed and that is affordable. With the € 6,000.00 already collected, materials for 5 patients can be purchased. That's great!!!

We are overwhelmed by the positive response to the appeal for donations for Chloè and Michel! Another child can now receive the life-saving operation. Once the time has come, we will introduce you to the little patient here.

Knowing that the funds are already there, the Heart Centre team can of course plan much better. The next series of operations will take place in Yaoundè, Cameroon in October/November 2023.
