It has been known for more than three years that Yvette has a narrowing of the blood vessels that must be operated on. Yvette was supposed to have been operated on at the General Hospital in Douala, but for whatever reason, the operation was never performed. Finally, she contacted the team of the Cardiac Centre Oureach in Yaoundé, where the surgical correction will be performed by Dr. Charles Mvondo.

Yvette has four other siblings. With her modest salary as a pharmacy assistant (approx. € 60. 00 per month), she contributes to the maintenance of her siblings. The parents are self-maintenance farmers. Yvette therefore needs financial support for the operation.
