Kingsley was taken from hospital to hospital, but the cause of his symptoms had not been found for 5 years. Fortunately, Kingsley was eventually referred to the Shisong Cardiac Center for evaluation, where Dr. Cabral Tantchou diagnosed a mitral valve defect. Dr. Tantchou strongly recommended an operation, which can be performed in the Cardiac Center Outreach in Yaoundé.

Kingsley is the first born of a total of 4 siblings. He himself is an illegitimate child and has lived with his grandmother since he was born. The father never took responsibility for Kingsley. The grandmother and mother have no income and cannot pay the surgery costs.
