When he was born a year ago, Teba looked like a healthy little boy. However after four months he started to cough ceaselessly. Teba was thus brought to the Chantal Biya Foundation, where Dr. David Chelo performed an echocardiogram which confirmed a heart problem. The child was thus sent to the Cardiac Centre Shisong for further tests. There, Dr. Jean-Claude Ambassa diagnosed a malformation of the ventricular septum which must be urgently corrected through surgery.

Teba's father is a simple dealer who cannot pay for all the surgery costs. Even if this will be extremely difficult, the parents are committed to raise 1.000.000 FCFA (€ 1.527,00).
