Everything all right again!
We are happy with Amidou and his family that the heart surgery went well. Amidou has been successfully operated in February 2021 by Dr. Charles Mvondo and his excellent team. Dr. Italo Milocco came from Sweden and not only did the anaesthesia but also took care of Amidou and the other patients in a fatherly way.
Amidou thanks the mi-do donation community wholeheartedly for their generous support and the Cardiac Center team for the excellent treatment.
Amidou became increasingly less resilient, suffered from steadily increasing shortness of breath and tiredness. An investigation has shown that Amidou has a tumor in the heart and the mitral valve is damaged. An operation was urgently advised.
Amidou is a chauffeur and takes care of his wife Sophia and 6 children. It is not possible for the family to pay for all of the surgery costs. The mi-do donation community will thus donate the remaining amount.
