Going to school, playing soccer, meeting friends. . . . all this has not been possible for Silas lately. A year ago, it was noticed that Silas is getting weaker, breathing hard and quickly getting tired. An examination has revealed that Silas has several heart valve defects, which can only be corrected by surgery.

Silas lives with his widowed mother and his three siblings. The mother runs a small farm and can thus provide for the daily needs of the family. Of course, she cannot generate the costs of heart surgery. The mi-do donation community will therefore pay for the operation costs.
