Melisa's plans for the future were suddenly shattered when she had to drop out of school for health reasons a year ago. Because of severe breathing difficulties and general weakness, she was sent for cardiac screening. Dr. Cabral Tantchou diagnosed a heart defect that urgently has to be operated on.

Melisa has 6 siblings, the father is a nurse and the mother a housewife. The modest income is just enough to feed the family. Of course Melisa should get her life-saving operation and therefore we ask the friends of mi-do and Franciscan Mission Outreach to make this special Christmas present for Melisa possible.
