Let us join forces to give Barbara a special Christmas present. Due to pericarditis, Barbara's pericardium has become so hard that the heart's function is massively impaired. Fortunately, Barbara has visited Dr. Charles Mvondo in the Heart Center in Yaoundé. He made the diagnosis and he will perform the necessary operation.

Barbara is the youngest of 6 siblings. The mother is a nurse and the father is a cook. A nurse's salary is € 99.00 a month and that of a cook is probably lower. We want to avoid that the parents have to go into debt because of the operation costs. The mi-do community and the Friends of Franciscan Mission Outreach will team up to cover the costs.
