Dr. Charles Mvondo has successfully performed an aneurysmectomy. There were no postoperative complications and Joseph was discharged well recovered. Joseph will be checked regularly by the Cardiac Center team.
Joseph's dream of being able to study again will now come true! Thanks to the generous support of the mi-do donation community, Joseph and his family were relieved of financial worries about the high costs of the surgical procedure. Joseph can now concentrate fully on his studies. We wish him all the best from the bottom of our hearts!
Joseph has been diagnosed with a large ventricula aneurysm. If such an aneurysm ruptures, there is absolute danger to life. An operation was therefore urgently necessary. Dr. Charles Mvondo and his team successfully performed the operation back in November 2020.
Joseph lives with his mother, the father has died. The two are supported by the extended family. The family cannot pay for the entire operation costs. We don't want the family to go into debt and so we ask the mi-do donation community for their valued support.
