For years, Regina's parents sought medical help for their daughter in various hospitals in Cameroon. It wasn't until 2017 that they came to the Shisong Cardiac Center, where Regina was diagnosed with a serious heart valve defect. Even then, an operation was urgently recommended. For various reasons such as political unrest, restricted mobility, financial obstacles ... the intervention could not take place immediately. Fortunately, the parents have now decided to take Regina to the capital, where Dr. Charles Mvondo and his team can perform the necessary surgery.

Regina has seven siblings. The parents are self-sustaining farmers and can provide for the family with the income from agriculture. The family will contribute to the costs, as Regina is supported by the extended family. We want to ask the mi-do donation community for a contribution for the remaining amount.
