Falilat is the youngest of three children and also the problem child of the family. A congenital heart defect and an unclear genetic syndrome were diagnosed. The aorta and pulmonary artery are still connected and have to be surgically separated. At the Cardiac Centre Outreach Falilat gets all the help she needs.

Some years ago the family moved from Nigeria to Cameroon. Getting a foothold there is not easy. The mother is a housewife and the father has only occasional work. Even if the parents can only contribute a small part to the cost of the operation, Falilat must not be denied life-saving surgery.
