Hamed and his parents are overjoyed about the successful operation. They wholeheartedly thank the Cardiac Center Shisong team and the mi-do donation community who made the life-saving operation possible.
A visiting doctors team from Rome has dr. Charles Mvondo assisted in open heart surgery. In November 2017, a pacemaker has been successfully implanted. Already two weeks after the procedure Hamed could be released from the hospital.

The young parents brought their little Hamed from one hospital to another, to cure his stuffy nose. At least they thought that the breathing difficulties were due to a problem in the nose. When they had examined Hamed in the Cardiac Center Shisong in summer 2017, Dr. Cabral Tantchou diagnosed an atrio-ventricular block. This disorder can only be corrected by surgery.
Mariama, Hamed's mother, is a student and the father is out of work. They have collected funds within the family and can contribute about 1/10 of the costs. For the remaining amount, Br. Boniface kindly askes the MI-DO community for their valued support and thanks in advance on behalf of the family!
