Halimatou Salissou lives in a small village in the north of Cameroon and she is very happy that she could come to the Cardiac Centre Shisong where, after a long standing history of sickness, now proper medical care is guaranteed. Dr. Cabral Tantchou has diagnosed a severe mitral-valve-stenosis which requires a surgical intervention.

Halimatou Salissou wants to be as soon as possible healthy again in order to care for her three little children by herself. Halimatou and her husband are subsistence farmers. The yield from the farm is enough to take good care of the family but it is not enough to meet the costs of a heart operation. Br. Boniface therefor requests in the name of the family the MI-DO community for their highly appreciated support.
