The worry lines on Fabrice's face disappeared! As we can see, he is very happy to have been operated. Brother Boniface reports that Dr. Charles Mvondo and his team have successfully replaced two malfunctioning heart valves and that Fabrice, after having recovered from the procedure, is now back home with his family.
Desiree and Thomas-David, Fabrice's parents, thank wholeheartedly the community of MI-DO donors and the Cardiac Center's team for this wonderful gift!
Fabrice has been transfered as an emergancy case from Bafoussam to Shisong because a heart defect was suspected. There Dr. Cabral Tantchou diagnosed a severe mitral and aortic valve regurgitation which requires an urgent surgical intervention.
Fabrice comes from a poor background. The father is a retired civil worker and the mother is a houswife. They are catering for a family of six children and therefore it is a big challange for them to raise the necessary amount for the intervention to safe the life of Fabrice. However they will contribute with the amount of € 763,00 which corresponds to an annual salary.
Therefore the MI-DO community has been asked for assistance to make the life saving operation for Fabrice possible. Thank you in advance!
