Qualified medical help is very rare in the extreme North of Cameroon. This is why Albert has been suffering for many years. He was treated a number of time, but always unsuccessfully. Fortunately, a doctor decided to send Albert to the Cardiac Centre Shisong. There, Dr. Jean-Claude Ambassa diagnosed a severe mitral insufficiency and recommended an urgent surgical procedure.

The parents are self-sufficient farmers with ten children at school and are thus absolutely unable to pay for the surgery. They can however contribute a small amount.
